Changlan self-fusing silicone rubber tape chemically bonds to itself, creating a water-tight seal around whatever it's wrapped around. Unlike electrical tape, which becomes gooey in hot temperatures, this self-fusing tape can withstand temperatures up to 500° F, making it ideal for automotive repairs in the engine compartment, under the dash, and in the trunk. It's perfect for repairing wiring insulation, radiator hoses, and vacuum tubes, to name just a few applications.
The tape also has an infinite number of uses around the house. It can fix leaking pipes and hoses, or be used to rewrap worn-out rubber handles on sporting equipment. It seals out moisture for outdoor cable and speaker connections. To fix or protect an area, simply stretch and wrap the self-fusing tape around the desired spot. Then, stretch and wrap it again over each side of the initial wrap. The tape will bond to the area being wrapped and to itself, creating an air-tight and water-tight seal.
